Not much to say after these pictures, body machining is perfect and the smooth reflector is flawless, I want to thank Simon for smo reflector.

Color rendering of XM-L2 T3-6A1 is good but not as good as Nichias!

The light does not have any heat problem with 1050mA driver.

For me the only con of light :

  • Now, I hate my cool white leds tints!

For those who use protected batteries, Convoy s7 accepted some protected batteries, but they do not fit in s5, unprotected Samsungs barely fit in Convoy s5.

Pros:

  • Lightweight
  • Good machining
  • High cri led
  • Easily moddable

Cons:

  • Protected batteries do not fit.
  • Even some unprotected batteries barely fit.
  • Reflector is about ~1mm or 2mm up on led a thicker MCPCB fixes problem a bit.
